Kudos to Gay Baker Who Understands Freedom and Schools Fellow Gays on the Truth About Their Bad Behavior (video)

Why would you want to force someone who doesn't want to do something to do it? Especially for something that is special to you. Find someone who wants to genuinely do it. They will put in the time, effort, and care you want. The end product will have the good energy of someone who WANTED to do it.

My respect and applause goes out to Jesse Bartholomew, a baker, who happens to be gay, had the courage to stand up and tell fellow gays the truth about their appalling behavior in this 2 minute video.

Jesse expresses his frustration with fellow gays about the fact that they are punishing Christian bakers who have declined to bake their wedding cakes.

He has a really wonderful point. WHY would you even want someone who has a different view than you working on such a personal part of your wedding? There are so many bakers to go to, why focus on the one that has religious views that conflict with yours?

Because this isn’t about cake. This isn’t about hurt feelings. This is about ego. And punishing. And wrongly yielding your own freedom to block the freedom of others who you don’t agree with.

Gays are likening themselves to the civil rights activists. But I will tell you that Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, and other black activists who were fighting for freedom were fighting against government discrimination and oppressive laws. Not individual people’s freedom of speech, religion, association, and just personal freedom to choose for themselves. Don’t confuse the two, they are hugely different.

Today’s gays and liberals who are doing all this shouting are nothing but bullies and oppressors to others. You fought so hard to get your rights and now you’re shamefully trying to oppress others. What is that about?!

Thank you Jesse for your common sense and courage to speak the truth. The final words of this post are from you. I couldn’t have said it better myself.

“There’s no other bakers out there?” he rhetorically asked. “It’s plain and simple: you are bullying someone, you are forcing someone, you are being a Nazi and forcing someone to bake a damn wedding cake for you when there are hundreds of other gays and lesbians that would gladly have your business. Shame on you.”
