From Hollywood to Singapore: The Battle Between Beauty and Liberty (video & short article)

Beauty is beating the message of liberty...and not in a good way.

I got back last week from one of the best events for liberty that exists. It's called Freedom Fest. And it's held every year in Las Vegas during July.

I gave a speech titled From Hollywood to Singapore: The Battle Between Beauty and Liberty. And I talked about how people across the globe are seduced by pretty pictures, pretty messages, and how liberals, the Democratic Party, and many in government are masters at creating a Photoshopped message that promises "good" while masking "immorality".

The Democrats also have much of mainstream media and Hollywood under their thumbs and both of those industries have huge, pretty megaphones to the world.

When Should You Marry For Money?

Americans marry for LOVE. Well, most of them do anyway. This may seem like a normal statement to make, but when placed in a historical context, the idea of marrying for love is unusual.

Even in modern times, when there is more freedom in the world overall, America has more people marrying for love than anywhere else in the world. "Prior to the mid 1800s, a majority of people married for social, economic, or political reasons. Marriage partners were generally chosen by family members, not the individuals getting married. After the Industrial Revolution, the basis of marriage began shifting toward love and personal fulfillment. " So what was it about the Industrial Revolution and freedom that changed marriage from a financial deal to emotional love?
